What’s up with this mess! Why is there so much litter along the fence at the back of the Hunters Creek Middle School which leads into the Conservation Area? I picked up 12 empty chip bags, 14 plastic bottles and 2 soda cans plus miscellaneous other garbage just by these parking spaces.
Who are these people that have no respect for the environment and are too lazy to put their waste in a trash can or, better yet, RECYCLE IT! Please people, you are not the only ones on this planet!

Hey man, so I have been visiting shingle creek for 6 months now. I usually go to this area next to a neighborhood on central florida. There is a random abandon bridge there that crosses the canal/creek and leads to a lake. I was wondering if you know what those bridges are doing there… I looked on google maps and so a couple other ones following down the river. And talking about wildlife, I always encounter some deers, wild turkeys, lots of birds, and even an otter last time I went on a hike this past week. I also see lots of litter on this section of the creek, I am prepering a group of friends to help me clean up. But it’s good to know that there are people like you that still influence and want to protect the nature we have around. Especially this one so close to us but not recognized at all. That’s all I had to say, 🙂 keep up with the post!

Not sure what those bridges are but I suspect they are just remains from old roads that once crossed the creek. Thanks for the comments and for helping to clean up the creek!
